Things to Remember

Considering the articles we read in class, the documentary modes this film borrows from involves portraying the ‘real world’ with the way they utilize their footage.  Throughout the film the narrator uses an automated voice.  This detracts emotions from the viewer so that they can create their OWN organic emotions, rather than be influenced by the film.  In doing so this adds to the experimental part of the film.  Aside from this, the images and storytelling made a great impact on the experimental aspects of this film—such as the automated narrator and experimental transitions for each cut.  Moreover, this film comes across as fact, due to showing the articles, news, and people living their daily lives.
